Thames Estuary Dawn
A lovely dawn out on the estuary.
The 1st extra shows bait digging while walking the dog with the missus. On the right you can see "Mulberry Harbour"… “'Mulberry harbours' were temporary portable harbours used during the Second World War to facilitate the rapid offloading of cargo onto beaches during the Allied invasion of Normandy in June 1944. This harbour never made it to its destination and came to rest 1.5miles off Thorpe Bay seafront.” When I was young I used use to walk out there at low tide with my great aunt and uncle who had a beach hut in Thorpe Bay.
The 2nd extra is quick snap of moonset over Thorpe Bay for Tweedy :)
