Four people

are allowed on the lift at one time. This seems to be part of the measures taken against COVID-19. We were going to get on one of the lifts but chose to use the escalator instead after finding that more than four people had already been there.

Last time I was at the shopping mall was June last year, when the sign for the lifts were not like this: it just encouraged social distancing. At some point since then, the number restriction was added.

Had a nice day with one of my friends from high school, walking a lot around Kanazawa. Leaves were turning red and yellow and many people looked happy under the good weather. I collected several new signs during the day.
