M.O.T 2021 Day 4

We stayed local this morning as Andria was heading back to Sussex after lunch so we explored the walks around the border of the holiday village down to the river stopping off for a coffee at the Starbucks on site. A bowl of my homemade leek & potato soup & crusty bread for lunch before seeing Andria off. We chilled for an hour then drove up onto the open moor for a walk to see the ponies. I have never seen so much holly growing in one area. The New Forest must be the best area of UK for growing holly, loaded with berry. Does that mean a hard Winter??? Who knows.
My turn to cook tonight - Roasted veggies with hummus, a yogurt, garlic & mint dressing wrapped in soft tortillas followed by baked apples n custard. Tonight we decorated jam jars with  silhouettes & glitter then added tealights ... a Seasonal theme .. :-)
