Sign of . . .

. . . . the times.
E is staying with me as her step dad and mum both have Covid 19. Thankfully she (and I) are still negative; she came to stay as she is doing her mocks at the moment and really wished to be able to finish them.  If she'd stayed at home, she might have succumbed.... 
Today she had to go to the local college to meet the tutors and select those subjects she might wish to take next year, after her GCSE's. She looks rather exhausted after it all, and is relaxing on the sofa with a cuppa and a welcome pan au chocolat or two! (She'd not had any lunch.)
The weather has changed already - it is damp and a lot colder this afternoon.
