Lightbulb Moment
A mixed day.
Had my covid booster & flu jab...we were given Pfizer this time so fingers crossed it gets along well with the Astra Zeneca that's already in my system.
Fingers crossed also that I don't wake up tomorrow feeling as poorly as the nurses acknowledged I might...lots of driving to do as we had to abandon the motorhome trip when one of the lights went out.
I'm driving my car as himself will use it to to go to his hospital appointment early Monday morning - the hospital car park won't accommodate Bessie!
Lots of running around followed trying to fix it, not helped by the chap in the motorspares place selling us the wrong replacements! The new bulb didn't work either but the wiring and fuse looked sound and all other lights were working perfectly. We drove out of town a little way to park up in a layby so we could consider if the AA would come out for such a weird little problem and also so Finley could stretch his legs. Himself gave the light unit a little bash in frustration and the blessed thing came on!
Now we don't know if it needed a replacement bulb or not but it was already getting pretty dark so we knew we wouldn't make our destination by last check-in...so we had to head home again.
I've let the site know we'll drive up in the morning and poor Finley's got no idea what the dickens is going on! All he knew was that his dinner was late!
