Market Day
A quick trip to the local town for supplies passing by the market square. The stalls were given a make over in the early 2000', part funded by the European Union Development Fund (as noted on a fading sign in the image).
Other than that it was time in the garden, collecting the burgeoning carpet of leaves and removing the last of the bedding flowers. It was still notable that the lobelia were still in flower - what a late autumn we've had.
Then it was binge time watching the rugby internationals. Such compelling viewing and nail biting finishes. Only France were comfortably ahead as the clock ticked down. It is a rare day when all of the Southern Hemisphere teams suffered defeats on the same afternoon.
