Alley

This is the bit of London where I first started going out on my own at night, a very long time ago. It has never, ever bothered me - I guess I've been lucky not to have been frightened back indoors. I'm still not afraid but nowadays I listen acutely to what's around me. I don't remember doing even that back then.
