Matlock

backblip

From a walk along the High Peak Trail from Middleton Top.  Still plenty of snow about, and a small amount of it coming down.

The view is towards Matlock.  The industrial mill building to the left is at Cromford; the central rock outcrop is High Tor, on the far side of the Derwent to the South Parade blipped earlier; then there's Matlock proper, nesting in the valley.

Drove back via Melton Mobray where we had a pizza.  Classic 21st-century moment as M, eyes-down following his smartphone, walked straight past the restaurant the smartphone was supposed to be taking him to.
