Beautiful Day

The weather was really quite lovely, especially as the month creeps towards Thanksgiving. The skies were clear, and although the high was only 51F/10.5C, the grandchildren and I donned our jackets and spent a good couple of hours outside...which included a tea party (see extra just for fun!). We swept the potting shed porch and cleaned up some plants and "taught" a plant class just for fun.

This is probably one of the very last cosmos still blooming in the garden. It looked better from the side than face on ;-)

Tomorrow I'll spend much of the day at a volunteer event for the botanical garden so am looking forward to some serious down time next week!
