Here comes …

….. ….. ….. summer!
The elderflowers are finally appearing.
Last year we dried elderflowers for tea, alongside wild rose petals, plus Elderberry cordial and syrup - maybe even Elderberry vinegar?

We had a walk along Whitechapel this morning as the forecast promised rain this afternoon. They were right and we were thankful for the warning.
Missy and the alpacas seem to have come to a mutual understanding and no longer have standoff sniffing sessions. Not so with another dog that came running along. It was all game on again!

It was lovely with the rain all afternoon. I had a snooze, plus knitted and read. So peaceful!
