The Deep

Today was a strange day - planned a day at the coast but pain and fatigue put an end to that. Just about managed to clean the inside of the car and then had a couple of hours sleep and read 'The Beacon' by Susan Hill.

Drove to The Deep tonight for a quick blip. Could have done with better camera and steadier hand but hopefully you get the picture.

The Deep was one of the most successful Millennium projects and is Hull's main attraction. I was the city's tourism development and marketing manager when it opened and I have fond memories of that time.

Hull is now bidding to be UK City of Culture so I am sure I will feature more in the coming months.
