Anna and Jack

This is Anna riding Jack. I've blipped Anna and Jack before and I've photographed them both lots. Anna is such a wonderful young woman and Jack is a gentle, well mannered horse. They're perfectly suited. Jack is an ex point to pointer and Anna has dreams of re-training Jack for dressage. Jack's movements are beautiful, floaty and fluid and, these traits, combined with Anna's patence and skill, I know she'll achieve her goal.

In other news, it would seem because of my wide calves, I'm going to find it difficult to get long boots to fit so, off I trotted (no pun intended) to try and track down some jodhpur boots and half chaps. A few hours and pounds later, my mission was successful and I'm now the owner of some lovely black leather boots and suede half chaps. The only trouble is, they're way too lovely to get messy and dirty so I'm just going to keep them for a while and look at them. It's not all about the riding you know..............
