Two for Joy

One of the many beautiful “light installations” as the Festival catalogue calls them, on show at the 10th Lumiere  Festival in Durham this weekend.  

The weather has been kind too, so after our first wander round , tomorrow  we will take a bit more time to look at the ones we enjoyed and some we haven’t seen yet.

This piece, seen in front of tonight’s moon, is called “Two for Joy” and is by Erin McDougle.   My extra photo is “Halo” by Illumaphonium which is an interactive musical sculpture that everyone wanted to play.
