Thanksgiving Cactus Flower

I spent some of the morning writing an article and sorting out some photographs for a magazine. The afternoon was spent watching the Formula One race from Qatar.

Today's picture is one of the flowers that has opened on my Thanksgiving Cactus; there are a lot more buds still to open. My second plant has even more flowers, but none are open.

The temperature at GMT today in my home village was seven degrees Celsius.


Update: I have just looked at last year's picture for today, clearly it was much further ahead than it is this year.
