Étang d’Arvige, Savièse

This is one of many ponds (étangs) in the area of Savièse. We enjoyed a sunny walk around them this morning. It was relatively mild in the campervan last night and not as cold as we expected. It was our last weekend in the van and we will now take if off the road until April and store it in the valley. It’s not a good idea to keep older vans up on the mountain during winter as too much snow on the roof can be quite heavy.

We called in at the Swiss surf centre on the way back for a coffee. (See extra) The colder temperatures haven’t stopped the surfers who were dressed in winter wet suits with hoods.
