Bird's Nest

Started my next project of sewing a Christmas tree, although will have to work a bit harder as has a dark background.

Went out to the garden & raked up a couple of buckets of leaves then emptied a bucket of muddy water.

After lunch took out this bird nest I had got recently & decided to try it here on the evergreen, hoping it is not too exposed. Couldn't put it in the beech hedge as the magpies & squirrels have chased away any bird trying to nest there. This is in the middle of the garden but far enough away from any of the feeders.

Not sure if right place but will try it anyway, suitable for small birds only.

Emptied some tubs out into the garden removing the old roots & weeds. Some of the tubs plastic broke as fragile & old so will need the bin. A few have survived another year. Thinking about getting a raised bed rather than lots of tubs but need to think where to put it as can't be moved about. Or maybe get some big pots rather than plastic tubs, but they can't move about either.

Lemsip tonight as feeling like a faint sore throat & cold runny nose coming on, may just be because been cold last couple of days. Thought being out in garden for some fresh air would blow away the cobwebs of four walls. Will do the dreaded test in the morning just incase.
