Houseleek ( Sempervivum Sp )

Another quiet uneventful day.   On one of our recent trips to a garden centre we bought some Houseleeks to plant on the dry rocky slope under the verandah at the Lodge. So far they haven't been planted.

So I took one into the home studio and started shooting.  I finally decided on this shot.  Houseleeks are surprisingly, well surprising to me anyway members of the Saxifrage group.
