Autumn landscape
This is the view out to neighbouring grazing fields from the garden of a friend of ours in the village. She is disabled and has a live-in carer but remains remarkably cheerful. She likes to sit out in her conservatory where she can enjoy this view. She is of Irish heritage and I joined her in a rendition of Molly Malone (alive, alive-o) when we visited today. It was hardly two-part harmony but we only had my wife for an audience and she said she enjoyed it. I think she was pleased though that we could only remember one verse!
