Lazy day

It’s been a damp and dismal day, so Bean has spent a lot of it snoozing on the sofa. Occasionally she has opened her eyes in case food or a walk might be about to happen.

It did happen: a lovely two+ hour walk at Bortons Pond where the rain mostly held off and we both had much needed exercise. The extra is a patch of brightness from the riverbank there - broom and daisies. Both are non-native, but cheerful nevertheless.

I’m so glad I got all that grass cut yesterday before the weather arrived.
