Diary Blip (Sunday 21st November 2021)

Having completely emptied both porch and conservatory at the same time to enable plastering and painting, once that had been done there was an opportunity to redistribute the contents to better effect. The job had top priority as everything had been crammed into all available spaces in the tiny house and outbuildings, and also all the plant pots that had been moved by the builders had been put back in the wrong places.

Since Wednesday I have devoted most of my time planning and executing all the rearrangements. Initially there were more noticeable changes but as time went on I realised that there were practical reasons why most thing were where they were, so how things have ended up is closer than expected to their former state.

There are still boxes to go into the loft, and coats, scarves and sundries still to be rescued from the outbuilding.

This caught my ear when Iggy Pop played it on his Sunday afternoon Confidential show on Radio 6. Amyl and the Sniffers are an Australian pub rock and punk rock band based in Melbourne, consisting of vocalist Amy Taylor, drummer Bryce Wilson, guitarist Dec Martens, and bassist Fergus Romer.
