A train over the viaduct

This morning I went to the garden centre to get some cyclamen plants for my front garden.  Afterwards I walked along the canal and over the aqueduct at Chirk.  This is another crossing of the Welsh border with a sign for Shropshire on one side and  Welcome to Wales (Croeso i Gymru in Welsh) on the other because it crosses the River Ceiriog. 

I had just got the aqueduct a train passed over on the viaduct which is next to it, I just managed to get a shot. It would have been even better with a boat in shot but I only saw one on the move today.

This afternoon I did a bit more gardening but the light goes so early at this time of year that I didn't do as much as I'd intended.
