Blinded by the Light

Today was one of those cold but sunny winter days so, while there was daylight to be had, M and I headed down the road from her house to Stockport where we had a lovely stroll around Vernon Park/Woodbank Park and then spontaneously popped into the Vintage Emporium located in Pear Mill, a beautiful former cotton mill on the River Goyt. We had a good browse through the range of genuine antiques, fascinating bric-à-brac and (let’s be honest) absolute tat on sale, and stopped for hot beverages and cake in the café. 

The perfect way to spend a Sunday afternoon.
