Bin Find No 139
Two telephone conversations today - one good, one not so good.
The good one first, because it was at 9.30am. I had a chat with an MSK (musculoskeletal) consultant. This is the next step from a physiotherapist. All the same stuff, but now I (we) have the assertion from the cardiologist that the leg pains are NOT coming from my heart, so it must be my back. And so, after a chat going over all the same things, she agreed that the next step was to arrange a scan of my back and then I can actually come in and see her in person to discuss the results and next steps! Progress indeed. I’m delighted.
I took Archie out for a walk around midday. I had an ulterior motive - we happened to walk via Pomelo, hoping to get some sweet chilli chicken bao buns for lunch. Alas, they were shut.
I have been trying, on and off for a few days, to fix my email. There is a problem, and no emails have been coming in on that one since Saturday (we have others). I’ve been changing passwords, all to no avail. And so I girded my loins and rang my provider, which is never a fun way to pass half an hour. And this wasn’t. I eventually pressed all the right numbers and actually got to a person, who then left me to consult another person, then came back to cheerfully informed me that my account had ‘been locked’ because of suspicious activity!!! But they will unlock it now. Well not now, but definitely within FIVE DAYS!! They have my phone number and will ring me when they get around to unlocking it. How kind of them. But when were they going to inform me they’d locked it?
I wasn’t tempted to bring this poster home. I last saw Dr Who when he was played by Patrick Troughton, who was the second Doctor in the 60s, but I do remember the Daleks.
