Heading South

Having enjoyed yet another cooked breakfast (this time with a potato scone), we packed up the car, checked out and headed south, taking a slight detour to see Plockton (it was lovely) and stopping at Eileen Donan castle.  The rest of the drive took us past Loch Cluanie, Loch Laoyne, Loch Garry  and the wonderfully named Loch Lochy before reaching the more familiar Loch Laggan, Dalwhinnie and the A9. 

My first and only other visit to Skye was 19 years ago - given that we now live three hours away from the bridge I suspect a lot less time will pass before we visit again.
