A bit of a battle

A couple of weeks ago we bought a new bird feeder with anti squirrel feature.  It has been out in the garden for a few days now and the birds are loving it.  The squirrels have now discovered it and are doing their best to get into it.  They are having a bit of a battle with each other, squirrel against squirrel but they are very inventive in their attacks on the feeder.  So far, feeder is winning, or at least surviving.

The care home search for Dad is continuing - I went to see one home this morning.  I liked it.  Had contact with another one this afternoon but they are not accepting face to face visits at the moment so I'm not sure about that one.  We will see what the week brings.
