Clach an t-Sagairt
The Priest's Stone because it had got an incised cross on it - not any old one but one thought to date to the pre-Norse period so basically quite old.
The setting is stunnnig and a few shafts of light helped.
I have foolishly been persuaded to talk to the local community archaeology group next week about the Norse and I have been gathering some relevant images hence my visit here.
Busy evening as there was a charity take away curry followed by a neighbour, M, having a party to help two friends celebrate their engagement.
Wine and no rum was drunk.
And to add to all that watching some rugby had to be fitted in.
