Bench by the bird hide overlooking Udale Bay, on the Black Isle, at dusk.

Too cold for sitting out. Temperature dropping rapidly (again) once the sun set. Minus six (degrees C) overnight, but very sunny during the day. Warmed up enough for an extremely rare event: I washed the car. Possibly the first time in about six months. Not counting the odd hosing down to remove salty water, after transporting the sea kayak.

Was considering this being another "daft" entry. What's the point of having the hide here when folk wandering about outside can be clearly seen by the birds? Sheltering from the Baltic breeze, and any rain, are big plus points. At least the hide's a darn site closer to the birdlife, than the one overlooking Munlochy Bay (yesterday's Blip).
