Spider and fly
It's warm and damp in Sydney and the bugs and grubs are loving it. The garden is alive with bees, spiders, flies, ladybirds, caterpillars, butterflies and more.
I witnessed the spider bringing down the fly. Death or at least paralysis was swift. They were hard to photograph as there was a lot of movement from the spider but you get the picture. A few meals for the tiny spider in that one.
Extra: Cabbage whites are plentiful in the garden right now. They seem to be having a season in both hemispheres.
Note: My entry is a switch from earlier. Most seem to prefer the spider and fly to the white butterfly.
Thanks for hosting Greg.
