Met K after work for a stroll around the orchard, the community garden and the park. 

Terrifying incident earlier when a bird flew into my office, all panic and flapping wings. Like a horror movie, just when I thought it had escaped it came from nowhere straight at me. Two screams and a small bruise to show for it. The bird, a noisy miner, was fine. At least it wasn’t a pigeon.
