Let The Hedges Flourish
It is interesting to see how farming practices are changing to allow wildlife to flourish.
Hedges are no longer trimmed until birds have had their young families leave the nests.
Today’s Blipfoto shows that the height of the hedge is no longer restricted.
Verges are cut later in the year to allow wild flowers to grow and seed.
Field margins have increased in width and left to grow as nature intends.
This is the hedge on the opposite road verge from "The Policies".
