In a muddle

A short break in the East Midlands whilst Harriet  attends a residential course at Nottingham University.

Our hotel is Eastwood Hall, and this is the sign for us to put on the bedroom door.

Eastwood is famous as the place where D.H. Lawrence was born in 1885. Lawrence was unarguably one of the greatest writers of the twentieth century.

Lawrence is perhaps best known today as a novelist and the author of "Sons and Lovers", "The Rainbow", "Women in Love" and "Lady Chatterley's Lover".
