A Proper Charlie

Poppy’s first lesson isn’t until after lunch on a Tuesday so we went into Cambridge to do some shopping and have lunch before dropping her off at college. We were surprised to see crowds of people and barricades around the market square so I asked a friendly WPC who told us that Prince Charles was visiting. We timed it really well as he suddenly appeared and after chatting to a couple of stall holders wandered over to the barrier where we were standing. Whatever your feelings about the Royal family, it’s very exciting to be within spitting distance of a major royal and it really made our day.
PCR came back last night as negative.
