Carol: Rosie & Mr. Fun

2021 Monday — Great-Grands

Today we made the journey south, 91 miles, to the east side of San Diego to deliver the books for the December Book Parade to our San Diego great-grandkids; they are the kids of our granddaughter Desiree.

We had so much fun visiting with these three littles! Actually two of them, Jade who is 6 years old and Emillia who will have her third birthday in early February, are little. Tristan will be 15 years old on his birthday in middle February.

We haven’t seen the little girls since early July, so we weren’t sure if they would warm-up to us. They were immediately excited when we arrived. Being with them was lots and lots of fun. This is the first time we have ever delivered the December books. We’ve always mailed them. This is, though, the first time we have done the book parade for 4 great-grands.

On our way back to the Inland Empire we stopped at Tom’s Farms to enjoy a late lunch. We haven’t stopped there in years. Our meal of hamburgers and fries was delicious. Tom's Farms is a local attraction that offers local produce, restaurants, and a "fair-type" environment for kids, with a small ride-on train, carnival games and big fountain-pond and open gardens. It is a lovely place to visit.

Just call us the great-grandparents,
Rosie (& Mr. Fun), aka Carol
and Chloe & Mitzi too!
