On The Circuit

Today marks the beginning (for me at least) of the 2013 Puppet Animation Festival with a first gig in Irvine for two schools audiences throughout the day.

Despite a few hold-ups in the early morning it was a great start to the Festival which this year will see me perform Oscar and the Deep-sea Pearl at eight venues Scotland-wide. And it really will be Scotland-wide! From Irvine on the west coast to North Berwick on the east coast, and from Methlick in Aberdeenshire down to Melrose in the Borders.

Most are venues I've been to before, which is nice. Like today's, which is a comfortable space for me having been here several times over the last decade.

I love the design features in the Harbour Arts Centre. This is the window in the toilet door, made to look like a ship's porthole.
