It Was All Very Relaxing

Such a lovely day with these two. We missed celebrating A’s 50th last year with lockdown, so it was rebooked for today…only 18 months late!

We met in Harrogate as Mrs W had booked us a session at the Turkish Baths before lunch at The Ivy. I have never been to a Turkish bath outside of Turkey so I wasn’t sure what to expect. The building was an old Victorian baths that were beautiful and I actually really enjoyed the experience, it was just hot rooms and plunge pool and it was all very relaxing.

Lunch at The Ivy was great and we all enjoyed our food and a (non-alcoholic) cocktail each. The only downside of the day was the parking ticket as I got back to the car. I had paid but for the wrong zone, I will dispute it and see what happens!
