Jon and I were on a mission to buy a Christmas tree today.

There is a dedicated Christmas shop in Bokarina that I had seen when we first got here, and today we got to it. And sadly it wasn’t anything like the Christmas shop we had seen down on the Gold Coast.

Nothing bought there so we moved on to the next item on the list - new cushions for our outdoor dining chairs.

The place we went to didn’t have any but they recommended this place next door where they could cut foam to size. So one thing ticked off the list.

I was quite amazed by this cutting tool.

We then went to Caloundra to see about a dog. There was a pet shop in a shopping centre ages ago, but sadly they weren’t there anymore.

So no dog coming home with us.

Tomorrow I’ll go with Ben to see about a tree.
