Another meal out

Three in a row!

Although not paying for this one it’s courtesy of Mum. Morag met us at the Dormy at Gleneagles for a splendid lunch. Nice seat at the window overlooking the Glen, mum likes this as it reminds her of when my brother did the caddying at weekends on the course as a job when he was still at school, and mum and dad used to sit in the car park overlook the Glen waiting to take him home to Blackford.

The waiter was lovely he was from Wicklow and looked after us well. Mum got her obligatory half portion of fish and chips and declared it delicious.

We went over to the main hotel thinking they had the Christmas decs up but not yet. Morag popped into to see the Andrew Fairlie restaurant as she’s booked it for my brothers 60th in May. Mappin and Webb had a half price sale on one of their diamond ranges and Morag was coveting one….. watch this space.

Had a walk up to what used to be fields where walked Breagha till they turned it into a massive housing development overlooking Broxden called Charlottesgate.

Was so full up still later didn’t manage a tea only half a scone and some crackers.
