Gogo Water Largs looking east

I took this snap from the Sir Thomas-Makdougall-Brisbane bridge. Born in Largs at Brisbane house he became Governor General of New South Wales after army service with Duke of Wellington. In 1824 a new penal colony was named after him now the city of Brisbane in Queensland. I have walked over this bridge hundreds of times and only today read the old eroded plaque naming it. We had a snack lunch in Nardinis at the Moorings.
