SHOUTING

This robin looks as though it's swearing very vehemently which it probably is, knowing how furious and territorial they can be.

Yet again the glorious sunshine disappeared just as I was going out and so the light for photos up at the Park was a bit dismal. I was delayed partly because the road is being dug up outside the house for a gas main to be replaced but after going down 1.5 metres they still couldn't find it and came to ask whether we could remember the road being dug up for gas before, which we couldn't. So tomorrow they're going to turn our gas off and try to trace the main back from our connection, telling us that it shouldn't be disconnected for more than an hour...or two. Hmmmm. However, when they reconnect they have to do a full safety check on our boiler and system so we get a free service. Tomorrow's blip may well be gas-related.
