By the canal

My. car was picked up just after 9 to be repaired and I have been left a courtesy car. I have to use it tomorrow as I have an appointment and going into school.
I cleaned downstairs ready for the lovely decorations that add so much cheer this time of year. I then raked up leaves off the front lawn as its green bin day tomorrow. 
Went a walk down the canal and heard lots of birds. Usually I cant see them but as the leaves have dropped managed to spot this one. The canal is covered in fallen leaves and some lovely reflections. 
Tonight on the weather bulletin on NW tonight there was a photo very similar to the ones I take on the canal at what I call the muddy bit. I may have passed the person there today. I did see a few people.
