Chapel
Backblip.
We stayed at Chapel Lane Caravan & Motorhome Club site and this is the chapel at the top of the lane. No longer a chapel, it appears to be home to a few company offices now which I would find a fascinating workplace. Himself, however, wasn't attracted by all the gravestones in the grounds!
Finley was a little superstar in Bessie and didn't create half as much havoc as I was expecting! Some lovely countryside walks too, you wouldn't dream we were so close to busy Brum!
Frazer's appointment lasted less than 20 minutes in the end which made our extended stay possibly unnecessary, but he'd been asked by his boss to use up a couple of days holiday and the sky stayed blue so all was good.
He has to come back again before Christmas for CT scans to make sure his tumour hasn't caused any problems elsewhere and then we'll be back in January for his surgery. No rush as it's only low grade but the position is awkward and could cause complications so we're still not sure what the plan will be then. I would love to learn to drive Bessie but not in the snow which will probably be with us then and Frazer's unlikely to able to do the steps for a few days of his recovery at least so I'll probably book a dog friendly hotel or something nearby with twin beds for the nights before and after. 3 in a bed is fun, but, not after an operation!
