One More Sunset

Thanksgiving Eve in the U.S. and we have much to be thankful for.  It's been a crazy busy year with lots of changes. Logan and Josie moved out and once again we were empty nesters, selling a house that we loved for 27 years, moving to a new state and leaving behind our little "family" of 3.  About to begin a new chapter, maybe the last (maybe not) and now having Ben move here too.  Trying to keep Hope alive for him and making it feel contagious to him.  

After I finished work today, I gave him a call and asked if he was up for a walk on the pier and a sunset at the inlet.  It was a good one and even the cooler temperatures weren't too bad.
