Light Sabres

In a case such as this, I have to admit, I discover an image by accident, having switched from one subject to another without refocusing. It is a happy accident, akin to a bloom on a watercolour. You take what you are given and work with it.

Sidelight catching the reeds reminded me of light sabres in Star Wars being swooshed around. I loved the warm and light colours set against a darker and cooler background. Looking at the image for a while is quite mesmerizing. There is a sense of depth, yet there is harmony and unity.
