Blaze

Busy morning, first in the office and then in another of our weekly hybrid meetings which meant I got another bright cold walk although only to Old College and back.
Something had been cancelled in the afternoon which gave me some space to finish longlisting and get some other emails etc shifted.
Beautiful sunset, even though it wasn’t as spectacular as Monday’s that I saw but couldn’t photograph as I was driving. Down to St Andrew’s Sq at the end of the day to celebrate planning permission having been granted for the new concert hall (now all we have to do is get through a period of judicial review options before the work can properly start). Good to chat to everyone, although sad to see DMcD does seem to have aged a fair bit over this last year (still his usual jolly self but definitely looking a lot older).
Talked to T all the way home about his various options with work and what he wants to do longer term, then Mt called to show us AR’s Christmas tree (extra) that she was so thrilled to have put in her bedroom (she and H both love lots of decorations and getting them up early!). She’d made a few of the decorations herself and was very proud of the finished effort!
A&N made supper and I then fell asleep on the sofa whilst they took Paisley for an evening walk….I definitely woke too early this morning!
