Gotcha!

My gardening companion. Been trying to catch him on camera for a day or two, and finally managed a couple of slightly out-of-focus shots!

The mystery of the missing wood was solved early on, by a phone call to the courier. Apparently yesterday's driver decided to quit his job mid-shift, and to annoy customers by falsely completing delivery forms! Our delivery arrived at lunchtime. This driver wasn't a happy bunny either - the lorry had been loaded in the wrong order, and he had to unload everything else in order to get to our pallets of wood. Which he did, heroically, and with great difficulty, as one of the pallets was on the point of collapse. Luckily, a local builder had parked his van outside our workshop, and kindly moved it to make space for all the other pallets. MrM had to go down to Morpeth this morning, and arrived home just as the drama had finished.

Spent most of the afternoon stacking wood with MrM. Suspect I shall ache tomorrow...
