An Inconvenient y
Today was very cold and grey and I really didn't feel like venturing far, so today's image is a bit of an experiment.
The title was going to be You Never Know What's Going To Be In Store, but only after I took the shot did I notice there was that inconvenient y. It was meant to relate to the fact that with blip I never know what kind of image I am going to take each day - an unpredictableness (not sure that's an actual word!) which I have really embraced and actually started to enjoy.
I wanted to make the orange of this bag and the wording stand out against our beech hedge. It is at least 40 feet long and up to 12 feet high in places but only in the last couple of weeks has it taken on its myriad autumnal hues - much later than just a few years ago.
