This is my mum!

A much much quieter day today - and there's a reason for that. After yesterday's mining dramas, we got home, settled down, because we were expecting company for dinner - and well, all hell broke loose really.

We had a MAJOR pipe burst, water everywhere. Emergency plumber called, and he fixed it. But it's left us an enormous mess to clear up. The garage was flooded out, water seeped through to the basement, and went through some of our electronic equipment. Insurance job for sure.

We were planning a safari down south, but cancelled that and just went round to Wittunga Botanic Garden to get a couple of bird blips, because it was quick and easy.

Luckily we saw some of what must be the last babies for the season, like this Eurasian Coot and offspring.
