Saw Midsommar yesterday for the first time. Really glad I saw it, it’s certainly a great horror film and reminds me of the original The Wicker Man. Ari Aster has amazing skill and is someone to look out for in cinema today. Hereditary was brilliant and moved me as did this. Great work. Florence Pugh is amazing. I liked her in Black Widow but she was truly excellent in this. Highly recommended but not for the feint of heart.

Was a shitty day but this made me happier for some reason.
