Playing in the Leaves

Euan had his first swimming class this morning, but there was some time to fill beforehand so Grandad and I took him to the park.  It has been the coldest day yet so there were a few goes on the slide, some climbing up and down the steps and lots of leaf throwing before it was time for a snack and then home.

Mummy and Euan went for their swim and Tony and I wandered up and down Summertown high street scoping out places for lunch and had a quick cuppa in M&S before meeting up.  Mummy reported that he had been a bit hesitant at first but soon got in to the water and enjoyed the splashing version of Wheels on the Bus, and lots of other fun games and songs.  

Lunch was in Taylors where there was much munching of bacon sandwiches, samosas and falafel salad with Euan tucking in to a large bowl of pasta and pesto.  Back home it took a while for him to give in to a nap and now we are just enjoying a bit of downtime.
