Autumn Is Here

This is just a random autumn leaf photo as we spent the day mostly travelling to Arkansas as we have been invited to spend Thanksgiving with Clelyn's family there.  This is a good chance for us to see Josiah and Clelyn and we do get on well with her parents Tom and Tamy.  Given inclement weather for flying, we made our first longer trip in the Tesla, which was a new experience, having to plan to stop at Supercharger stations to fill up on electricity.

We stopped twice on the way and I was amazed at how the technology has improved - at home on a 240 v circuit with 32 Amps we get about 32 miles added to the battery every hour.  When plugged in at the superchargers it charged at an amazing 350 miles per hour and so 20 mins took care of a fill up so we could carry on with our journey.  It took a little longer but with autopilot made for a relaxing drive most of the time.  Arrived safely and caught up with our hosts and Josiah and Clelyn.  Tomorrow is Thanksgiving with their whole family.
